Public Hearing regarding Small Cities Development Program

The Nashwauk City Council will hold a public hearing during their Tuesday, July 28, 2026, City Council meeting, which begins at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an update on the progress for the City’s Small Cities Development Program, which was awarded to the City to rehabilitate 20 single family dwellings and 6 commercial properties within the City limits of Nashwauk. The public hearing will be held at Nashwauk City Hall, 301 Central Avenue, Nashwauk, MN 55769.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Wastewater Collection Facility Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Nashwauk City Council will hold a Public Hearing during their Tuesday, July 28, 2026, City Council meeting, which begins at 5:30 p.m.

The City of Nashwauk will be addressing its wastewater collection facility plan as it relates to 3rd Street. Application has been made to the Clean Water Revolving Fund Program. A requirement of the fund program is that a public hearing must be held to discuss the various wastewater collection and treatment alternatives, location of the project, reasons for choosing the selected alternatives and estimated sewer service charges for the project. All residents and property owners in the City of Nashwauk are encouraged to attend. 

The public hearing will be held at Nashwauk City Hall, 301 Central Avenue, Nashwauk, MN 55769.

Public Hearing Regarding Request to Rezone Residential Property to Commercial

Notice is hereby given that the Nashwauk City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Nashwauk City Hall, 301 Central Avenue to consider a rezoning request that, if approved, would change the zoning of the property at 230 3rd Street from residential R-1 to commercial C-1. The public hearing will provide opportunity for interested parties to hear and see all information related to the request, ask questions, provide additional information, and express support or opposition.
